Starting from nothing.
At 30, I was newly separated with four kids under seven, living with my parents, no car, no qualifications, working for minimum wage for a copy machine sales lady. A chance lunch conversation got me an entry-level job in the Reservations Department at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage.

Do I need a degree or hotel experience?
No, and no. The course is built for starting from zero — that's the whole point. I started as a minimum-wage secretary.
How long does it take?
Work at your own pace — most students can complete the course in a few weeks. Getting an entry hotel job can happen fast in this market; the move to Sales typically takes months of deliberate positioning, and the course maps every step.
Is this 'sales' like cold-calling?
No. Hotel sales is hospitality: clients mostly come to YOU, and your job is relationships — site tours, client dinners, trade shows.
